The Teen and Adult Phonics (TAP) Library offers a comprehensive collection of digital novels specifically designed to cater to the reading needs of teenagers and adults. These novels have been created with engaging and edgy themes, ensuring that older emergent readers, particularly those with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) such as dyslexia, ASD, or ADHD, have a positive reading experience.

The app provides users with a sample of every novel in the collection, along with access to teacher support materials and a narrated introduction. This allows for an initial assessment of student interest in each story.

For those looking for full access to the stories, the app offers an in-app purchase option. However, if in-app purchases are not suitable for you, consider opting for the TAP Library School Edition. The School Edition provides access to the entire collection at a discounted price of 25%, compared to purchasing the stories individually.

1. Build Confidence with Fully Decodable Texts:
TAP novels are designed to support the teaching of systematic and cumulative phonics to older learners, especially those with learning difficulties like dyslexia. The TAP apps feature high-quality images and clean design, making them suitable for older learners. 3. Support Dyslexic Learners:

4. Systematic and Cumulative Phonics:
The TAP Library currently includes four novels at TAP Level 2. These texts use fully decodable words, including CVC, CCVC, CCVCC, and CV (open syllable) word types. Additionally, words may include consonant digraphs like sh, th, ch, wh, qu, as well as ending sounds ck, ng, and nk. Each book contains a small number of single-syllable open-syllable words and a minimal amount of non-decodable words. Users can also choose their preference for UK or US vocabulary and spelling.
